Research Internships
These internships are only available to Green Skills for Jobs and Entrepreneurship participants.
Join the Centre for Print Research to work within an interdisciplinary environment,
supporting the management of the Editions collection, featuring a range of early career and established international artists to ensure a diverse range of artworks.

Join GEM to work on a research project that aims to investigate what is happening to ageing on-shore wind farm infrastructure in Italy. Work within a research environment to develop analytical skills, project management skills and the ability to work to a client brief.

Join the School of Arts to work alongside George Lovesmith and Watershed to creatively co-create and prototype a Whole Building Retrofit Plan. Gain experience in surveying the fabric of a heritage building and evaluating retrofit options

LettUs Grow is a B Corp certified organisation, expert at designing and building aeroponic technology and farm management software for indoor and vertical farms.

St Werburghs City Farm connects people through land, nature, and food. Each year, we engage 60,000 people in spaces and services that build resilience, reduce isolation and strengthen community.

Bristol Energy Network is an umbrella organisation for individuals and community groups with an interest in energy in Bristol and the surrounding area.
Role: Varied - facilitating the 'Energy Help Desk', signposting help available and attending events.

Black2Nature campaigns for equal access to nature for Visible Minority Ethnic communities as they are currently excluded from the countryside. We organise nature camps, events, conferences and campaigns to make nature conservation and environmental sectors ethnically diverse.

Additional opportunities and resources
Grassroot Activators Programme (GAP) is delivered two days a week over a year. It provides people with the tools and opportunities to achieve their full potential in education, volunteering and training. The GAP initiative prioritises young adults 16-30 years living in disadvantaged backgrounds in Bristol - applications from across /outside the city will only be considered if places permit.
